Every day: One dated 5 by 5 letter grid a day, the same for all players, to clear by making words; earlier days are in the archive. New puzzle: Once a day.

Every Last Letter is one of six daily puzzles on PuzzleNook. Each day brings a five by five grid of 25 letters, and you build words from it as you like; the aim is to clear the board, with a perfect solve using every letter.
About Every Last Letter (PuzzleNook)
PuzzleNook is a small site of daily word games, and Every Last Letter is its letter-clearing puzzle. The day's board is a five by five grid of letters, dated on the page. You pick letters to make a word and submit it; letters you have used count toward clearing the board, and your score rises as you go.
There is no fixed list of answers to find. The challenge is planning: some letters, like an X or a second C, only fit in a few words, so the order in which you spend the common letters matters. Start Over resets the board, Clear empties the current word, and Give Up ends the day's attempt. A Score Challenge mode adds a target to beat.
The other PuzzleNook puzzles (Six to Five, One and the Same, InCommon, a daily crossword and Unscrumble) sit in tabs above the board, and an archive lets you play earlier days. The site says free players can complete up to three puzzles per game per day.
How to play Every Last Letter (PuzzleNook)
- Look over the day's 25 letters.
- Tap letters to spell a word and press Submit.
- Keep making words to use up the letters still on the board.
- Aim to use every letter for a perfect solve; Start Over if you want another plan.
Tips
- Spend awkward letters like X, Q or doubled consonants first, while vowels are still plentiful.
- Long words clear more of the board at once, but keep a few vowels back for the end.
- Plan the last few words before submitting so no lone letter is left.
