About Syndles

Syndles is built on one link: every word in a grid is a synonym of the others. A grid crosses three words, some of their letters are shown from the start, and the rest are blank. Once you see one of the words, the meaning gives you the other two.

You play by revealing letters with the keyboard, Wordle style, or by pressing Guess a word to try a whole answer. A row of hearts is your life for the run: a wrong guess or a hint costs hearts, and clearing a puzzle can win some back. An XP bar fills as you go, with multipliers for momentum.

Each day has its own run, and since a mid-2026 update it no longer stops at a fixed number of puzzles, so you can keep clearing grids as long as your hearts hold out. Your result goes on a daily leaderboard, and daily streaks and achievements reward regular play. Past days' runs can be replayed from the leaderboard for practice.

It suits players who like vocabulary puzzles and want a word game that rewards knowing many ways to say the same thing.

How to play Syndles

1. Open Syndles to start today's run.
2. Look at the grid of three crossing words and the letters already shown.
3. Type letters to reveal them in the grid, or press Guess a word to try a whole answer.
4. Use the synonym link: once one word is clear, the other two share its meaning.
5. Clear as many grids as you can before your hearts run out, then check the daily leaderboard.

• Solve the word with the most letters showing first; the synonyms then come quickly.
• Guess whole words when you are confident, since letter misses drain hearts.
• Save hints for grids where none of the three words has come to mind.
