Thruline
Four images, one hidden word that connects them, revealed one picture at a time.
Every day: A new set of four images each day, linked by one hidden word, with past puzzles to browse. New puzzle: Once a day (the puzzle date follows UTC).

Thruline is a daily image puzzle: four pictures share one connecting word, but only the first is shown at the start. Each wrong guess or skip reveals another image, and once all four are visible you get one last guess.
About Thruline
Thruline is a small daily browser game from cyllibi.com. Each puzzle is a set of four images that all connect to a single word, and your job is to name it.
At the start only the first image is revealed and the other three are hidden. You type a guess; if it is wrong, the next image appears. You can also skip to reveal the next image early if you have no idea yet. After all four are on screen you get a single final guess. You can tap any revealed picture to zoom in on details.
A new puzzle is published every day, and there is a page for browsing past puzzles and a record of which ones you have played.
The fewer pictures you need, the better your result, so the game rewards spotting the link early. It suits fans of picture-connection quizzes and lateral thinkers who like a quick daily guess.
How to play Thruline
- Open Thruline and look at the first image.
- Type the word you think connects all four images and submit it.
- A wrong guess, or Skip, reveals the next image.
- Use the extra pictures to narrow down the link.
- After all four images are shown, make your one final guess.
Tips
- Think of words with several meanings; the link is often a pun or double sense.
- Zoom in on each picture, since small details can hold the clue.
- Skip rather than guess wildly if a guess would waste a reveal anyway.
