The Last Word (Here's What You Do)
Add a letter, rearrange, and build three new words from the day's starting word.
Every day: One starting word a day, the same for everyone: add one letter at a time and rearrange all the letters to build three new words. New puzzle: Midnight UK time.

The Last Word is a daily word builder from the Here's What You Do quiz podcast. You start with a given word and make three new words in turn, each using every letter of the previous word plus one more, rearranged as you like. The game keeps your stats and shares results with friends.
About The Last Word (Here's What You Do)
The Last Word gives you a starting word, the same for everyone that day. From it you build a ladder of three new words. Each step must use every letter of the previous word plus exactly one new letter, and you can rearrange the letters however you like, so a four-letter start leads to five-, six- and seven-letter words.
The rule is strict: you must use every previous letter plus one, nothing more and nothing less. Some starting words allow many routes and some only a few, and finding a route at all can take thought as the words get longer. Once your three words are locked in, the result is saved, and you can share it with friends.
The Last Word is one of seven daily games from Here's What You Do, a weekly UK quiz podcast hosted by James, Jonny and John. A new puzzle comes each day, following UK time, and it is free to play. A free Here's What You Do account saves your stats and history and adds a Friends Leaderboard that compares all seven games with friends and family.
