Every day: Four sudoku grids a day, the same for everyone, at Easy, Medium, Hard and Very Hard: fill each row, column and 3x3 box with the digits 1 to 9. New puzzle: Midnight US Eastern Time.

Sudoku on Greatest Games is the classic number puzzle, new every day at midnight Eastern. Fill each row, column and 3x3 box of the 9x9 grid with the digits 1 to 9, no repeats. There are four separate puzzles each day, Easy, Medium, Hard and Very Hard, each timed on its own, with notes for pencilling in candidates.
About Sudoku (Greatest Games)
Sudoku needs no introduction: a 9x9 grid split into nine 3x3 boxes, with some digits given. You fill every empty cell so that each row, each column and each box holds the digits 1 to 9 exactly once. Harder puzzles give fewer starting numbers.
You tap a cell and tap a number, or type it, and tap the same number again to clear it. Notes mode lets you pencil in small candidate digits while you reason, and a cell turns red if its number clashes with one already in its row, column or box. Each day brings four different puzzles, Easy, Medium, Hard and Very Hard, each timed separately; the clock runs only while you are at the board, and a fast finish earns a speed bonus.
Sudoku is one of the daily games on Greatest Games, a site of word and logic puzzles. A new puzzle goes up every day at midnight US Eastern, the same for everyone, and it plays free in the browser with no account or download. A free account opens the Sudoku archive of every past puzzle by date.
