Sherlock Puzzles (Puzzleship)
Wear down a grid of candidate tiles until every column is settled.
Every day: Six numbered puzzles a day, from very easy to ultra hard and the same for everyone: eliminate candidate tiles until every column holds one item from each category; past days are in an archive. New puzzle: Midnight in your own time zone, as the site states.

Sherlock Puzzles is an elimination grid. Each column takes one item from every category, each cell starts with all its candidates, and you strike candidates out as clues about columns, neighbours and order rule them out.
About Sherlock Puzzles (Puzzleship)
In Sherlock Puzzles every category has its own row, and each column must end up with exactly one item from each row. Every cell starts as a set of candidate tiles, and you click candidates to eliminate them until one remains. Some puzzles reveal a few tiles at the start; others leave the whole grid open.
The clues talk about positions and relationships: two items in the same column, items never next to each other, one item somewhere left of another, items in consecutive columns, items not between two others. Same-column clues are the strongest, since they tie two items together for good. Settling an item clears it from the rest of its row automatically, which is a good moment to reread the clues touching that row.
Puzzleship publishes six puzzles of Sherlock Puzzles a day, graded from very easy to ultra hard. Each day's puzzles are numbered and dated, the same for every player, and appear at midnight in your own time zone; earlier days stay playable in the archive. The site is free with ads, and a premium plan removes them.
