Septence
Rate itSeven words, one sentence: write the best line that uses them all.
Every day: Seven required words a day, dated and the same for every player (on Oct 5, 2026: scarce, know, efficiency, worm, internet, separately, infect), to fit into one sentence that is scored and ranked on a leaderboard. New puzzle: Once a day; the puzzle shows its date.

Septence gives everyone the same seven words each day and asks for one sentence, up to 360 characters, that uses all of them. You can change their forms and add small glue words, but glue costs points. Your entry is final once submitted, and it is scored and ranked against other players.
About Septence
Septence describes itself in four words: 7 words, 1 sentence. Each dated daily puzzle sets out seven required words, which can be a mix as odd as scarce, know, efficiency, worm, internet, separately and infect. A drop-down on each word lets you change its form, so know can become knew or knowing. Your task is to write a single sentence that uses all seven.
To join them you need glue words: articles, pronouns, question words, helping verbs and conjunctions, chosen from a panel beside the board or typed in. Each one adds to a glue cost shown under your sentence, so the art is a sentence that reads naturally while spending as little glue as possible. You submit once; the entry is final, scored and placed on the day's leaderboard. The site lists the word data and language sources its scoring draws on, from WordNet to corpora of news and fiction.
Beyond the daily there is an archive of past puzzles whose scores do not change the frozen leaderboards, free play with chosen difficulty and time control, an Endurance mode where one sentence is revised as the required words change, and Duel mode, where two players write for the same words and the higher score wins.

Tips

- Change word forms freely: a noun as a verb can save several glue words.
- Short, plain glue like and, the and so is cheaper than a clause.
- Try the archive or free play first to learn how sentences are scored.
