Puzzl
Rate itFour short daily puzzles: a maze, a target number, a which-is-bigger bracket and a blended flag.
Every day: A numbered set of four short puzzles a day, the same for everyone: Path (a maze to escape in the fewest moves), Math (hit a target with four numbers), Bracket (five rounds of which of two wins on a stat) and Mashup (name the two countries in a blended flag). New puzzle: Midnight UTC; yesterday's set moves to the archive..

Puzzl is a set of four quick puzzles that changes every day at midnight UTC, the same for every player. You escape a maze in as few moves as you can, combine four numbers to hit a target, pick the winner of five two-way stat match-ups, and name the two countries behind a blended flag.
About Puzzl
Puzzl gives everyone the same four puzzles each day, numbered on the home page and meant to fill a short break. Progress for the day is shown as a count out of four, with a countdown to the next set. There are no ads and an account is optional.
Path is a maze. You guide a glowing dot from the top-left corner to a star in the opposite corner with on-screen arrows, arrow keys, WASD or by dragging, and the board shows the optimal move count to aim for. The clock only starts on your first move, so you can study the maze first. Matching the optimal count earns a Perfect path, and a hint lights the next few cells at a cost of five moves. The site says the mazes get harder through the week.
Math shows a target and four numbers. You tap a number, an operator and a second number to merge them, and keep going until all four are used and you land on the target. Undo is free, though the score rewards speed and few undos, and a hint adds 15 seconds.
Bracket runs five rounds, each a question such as which is taller or heavier, with two contenders to choose between. The real figures count up after each pick, followed by a fun fact, and the last round is the trickiest. Mashup shows one flag made from two real country flags fused together; you get six guesses to find both countries, with a continent hint after three guesses and faded source flags after five.
Puzzl is made by Maximiliaan Gadeyne. Past days stay in an archive for 30 days and a practice mode offers endless puzzles. Signing in syncs progress across devices and adds friends and leaderboards.
How to play Puzzl
- Open puzzl.day and pick any of the four games on the home page.
- Path: move the dot from the top-left to the star in as few moves as you can, matching the optimal count for a Perfect path.
- Math: tap a number, an operator and another number to merge them, until all four numbers make the target.
- Bracket: in each of five rounds, tap the contender you think wins on the stat asked about.
- Mashup: search for countries and find the two flags blended into today's flag within six guesses.

Tips
- In Path, study the maze from the star backwards before your first move; the timer does not start until you move.
- In Math, look for a pair that multiplies close to the target first, then use the other two numbers to adjust.
- In Mashup, the colours and shapes that do not belong together usually come from different flags, so split them up in your head.
- Save Math hints for last: each one adds 15 seconds to your time.
