Pokedle: Pokémon Grid Puzzle
Rate itFill a 3x3 grid with Pokémon that match both the row type and the column type.
Every day: One dated 3x3 grid a day, the same for everyone: three row types and three column types, and a Pokémon to place in each cell that has both. New puzzle: Midnight.

Pokedle: Pokémon Grid Puzzle is a daily Pokémon grid in the style of Immaculate Grid. Each day's board has three types down the side and three across the top, such as Fire, Water and Grass against Electric, Psychic and Ghost, and you place a Pokémon in each of the nine cells that has both types. Each pick is final, and rarer picks score more.
About Pokedle: Pokémon Grid Puzzle
This game, at pokemon-wordle.pages.dev and named Pokedle on its own page, is a Pokémon version of the Immaculate Grid. A new 3x3 grid is generated each day at midnight from the date, so everyone gets the same board. Each row and each column is headed by a Pokémon type, and a cell is solved by a Pokémon with both its row type and its column type: on 5 October 2026 the rows were Fire, Water and Grass and the columns Electric, Psychic and Ghost.
You click an empty cell to open the Pokémon picker, which you can search by name or filter by type; Pokémon already used are greyed out, since each can appear only once. You have nine guesses, one per cell, and every placement is final, right or wrong. A correct cell earns base points for the guesses remaining plus a rarity bonus for less obvious picks. Three hints per game each reveal one valid Pokémon for a cell.
Settings let you limit the pool to earlier generations, show Pokédex numbers, change the number of hints and switch to dark mode, and a Practice mode gives unlimited grids. Progress is saved in the browser. It is a free fan-made game, not made by Nintendo or The Pokémon Company.
How to play Pokedle: Pokémon Grid Puzzle
- Read the three row types on the left and the three column types along the top.
- Click an empty cell to open the Pokémon picker.
- Search or filter, and pick a Pokémon that has both the row type and the column type.
- Your pick is final and each Pokémon can be used once; fill all nine cells.
- Use a hint if stuck, and try Practice mode for more grids.
Tips
- Fill the cells with the rarest type pairings first, while you have the most choices.
- Pick less common Pokémon where you are sure, for the rarity bonus.
- Remember dual types count both ways: a Fire and Ghost Pokémon fits Fire against Ghost.
- Save hints for a pairing you cannot think of any Pokémon for.
