PokeDoku is a daily Pokémon grid in the style of Immaculate Grid. Each row and column has a category, such as a type, a generation or a trait, and you name one Pokémon per square that fits both, scoring extra for rare picks.

About PokeDoku

PokeDoku brings the Immaculate Grid format to Pokémon, and players have been sharing their daily scores in forum threads since 2023. It is run by Doku Games, which also hosts special puzzles such as a Master grid by a guest setter.

Each day's grid has three row categories and three column categories: types, generations, evolution traits and the like. For every square you name a Pokémon that satisfies both its row and its column. Once submitted, an answer is locked, and you cannot use the same Pokémon twice in one grid. You have nine guesses for the nine squares, so a wrong pick costs you a square.

After each correct answer the game shows what share of players chose the same Pokémon for that square. Those percentages add up to a uniqueness score, and lower is better, so the challenge is not only to fill the grid but to fill it with Pokémon few others thought of. The game is free in the browser with ads.

How to play PokeDoku

  1. Read the three row categories and the three column categories.
  2. Pick a square and name a Pokémon that fits both its row and its column.
  3. Submit it: correct answers are locked in and show how many players chose the same one.
  4. Fill all nine squares using nine guesses, never repeating a Pokémon.
  5. Aim for a low uniqueness score by choosing less common Pokémon.

Tips

  • Fill the hardest square first, while you still have every Pokémon available.
  • Middle evolutions are often rarer picks than the starters or final forms.
  • A wrong guess costs a square, so check both categories before you submit.

Questions

How many guesses do I get in PokeDoku?

Nine, one for each square of the grid.

How does the uniqueness score work?

Each correct answer shows the share of players who picked it for that square; the shares add up to your score, and lower is better.

Can I use the same Pokémon twice?

No. Each Pokémon can be used only once per grid.
