Pixadle Classic mode: the Pixadle logo with a desk lamp over a cloud wallpaper bedroom, a Search a character box and a search-by-movie switch

Pixadle is a free daily guessing game about Disney Pixar characters. In Classic mode you name a character and each guess shows which of its traits match the day's mystery character; other modes ask you to guess from emojis, a silhouette or a song. Everyone gets the same character each day.

About Pixadle

Pixadle is the Pixar sibling of Mousdle, from the same makers, and describes itself as the daily Disney Pixar guessing challenge. Its board is dressed as Andy's cloud-papered bedroom from Toy Story, and the cast runs from Woody and Buzz to the characters of the newer films.

In the Classic mode you search for a character by name, or switch to search by film, and each guess comes back compared with the day's answer, trait by trait, so the possibilities shrink with every try. The other modes give a different clue for the day: a set of emojis, a silhouette, or a song from the films to name. A Lorcana card mode is marked as coming soon.

It is free in the browser with no account. It suits Pixar fans who want a short daily film quiz; players who want the wider Disney catalogue can go on to Mousdle.

How to play Pixadle

  1. Open Pixadle and choose a mode, such as Classic.
  2. Type a Pixar character's name, or switch to search by film, and pick one from the list.
  3. Read the clues that come back: which traits of your guess match the day's character.
  4. Keep guessing until you find the character, then try the Emoji, Silhouette and Song modes.

Tips

  • Start with a lead from a mid-period film; the film clue tells you a lot early.
  • Use the search-by-film switch to scan a whole cast.
  • Side characters are fair game, so think beyond the heroes.
