Today's medium Numberlink grid on PuzzleMadness, a 10x10 board with nine colour-coded pairs of numbers to join

PuzzleMadness posts a new Numberlink puzzle every day, the same grid for every player, at several sizes. Link each pair of equal numbers with a line; lines never cross or branch, and together they fill every square. Finished puzzles score points on the site's monthly and all-time leaderboards.

About Numberlink (PuzzleMadness)

Numberlink gives you a grid with pairs of numbers. You draw a line between each pair, moving across or down through the squares. Lines cannot cross each other, cannot branch into a T, cannot double back to touch themselves, and in the end every square of the grid must be filled by some line. It is the puzzle behind games like Flow Free.

The daily page opens today's puzzle on its own, and its title carries the date (on 3 October 2026 it read "Daily Medium Numberlink Puzzle for Saturday 3rd October 2026"). There is a separate dated puzzle for each size: Small, Medium, Large and Mixed. Past days stay in the archive, so a missed puzzle can be played later, and there is a print version and an image download of the grid. PuzzleMadness does not publish solutions: the site tells you when you have finished a grid correctly or made a mistake. Each completed puzzle adds to your total on the Numberlink monthly and all-time leaderboards, where only your best score on any one puzzle counts.

The rules page is honest that not every step is pure deduction, especially on bigger grids: you will often draw a likely line and adjust. Pairs on the edge usually hug the edge, and lines next to each other tend to run in parallel. Short pairs that are close together are usually connected directly.

PuzzleMadness is a British puzzle site with dozens of daily puzzle types in the browser, from many sudoku variants to logic grids such as Nurikabe, Hashi and Slitherlink. It is free to play and carries ads. A free account keeps track of the puzzles you have finished and puts your name on the leaderboards, and the badges next to usernames mark how many puzzles a player has completed.

Tips

  • Numbers in corners often run along the edge toward their partner.
  • If an empty pocket could only be filled by one line, route that line through it.
  • Do the short, obvious pairs first so they stop blocking the long ones.

Questions

Is Numberlink like Flow Free?

Yes, the idea is the same: link matching ends with paths that fill the whole grid.

Once a day: each puzzle is dated, and the daily page opens the current day's grid. The site does not say at what time the new one appears.

Is PuzzleMadness Numberlink free?

Yes. You can play without an account; the site shows ads. A free account records which puzzles you have finished and enters your scores on the leaderboards.

Where can I find the answers?

Can I play earlier Numberlink puzzles?

Yes, older puzzles are in the archive, and puzzles completed on any day count toward that month's leaderboard.
