About Naru2day

Naru2day gathers its games on one home page of scrolls, each with a Fight button. The best known is Guess the Character: type a ninja's name and the game compares gender, affiliation, clan, chakra nature, height, age and debut with the hidden character, green for an exact match, yellow for partial and red for none, with arrows on height, age and debut. It comes in easy, normal and hard.

Around it sit games of quite different kinds. Naruto Wordle hides a 5-letter word from the series, a name, clan, rank or jutsu, to find in six tries. Guess the Episode shows five promotional images and scores up to 1,000 points each for how close your episode number is. Genjutsu Reveal starts with a blurred black and white ninja that sharpens with each wrong guess, and Guess the Eye shows a cropped eye. There is also a word search of Naruto terms, a bingo matching characters to traits, a 3x3 grid where each ninja must fit a row and a column, a pyramid that sorts characters by the day's category, and Impostor, where you find the one ninja among five that does not fit the category.

All the games reset at midnight Madrid time, and each shows a countdown to the next. Progress is kept on your device, with a streak for every game and monthly shields to save a streak after a missed day. Picking a ninja nickname, without an email, puts you in the daily Top 5 and the monthly ranking and lets you invite friends to a private ranking. The games draw on Naruto, Naruto Shippuden and Boruto, so expect spoilers.

The site is an unofficial fan project, free to play and available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German and Turkish. It suits Naruto fans who want a set of daily puzzles about the series rather than a single one.

How to play Naru2day

1. Open Naru2day and pick a game from the home page by pressing its Fight button.
2. In Guess the Character, choose easy, normal or hard, type a ninja's name and read the green, yellow and red attribute clues.
3. Use the arrows on height, age and debut to tell whether the hidden ninja is higher, older or debuted earlier, and guess again.
4. Move on to the other dailies, such as Naruto Wordle, the episode quiz or the word search, each with its own rules on its page.
5. Come back after midnight Madrid time for a new set and to keep each game's streak.

Tips

• In Guess the Character, start with a ninja from a large clan or village to split the field on affiliation and clan early.
• Yellow on chakra nature means the hidden character shares at least one type with your guess, so keep that type in your next pick.
• In Guess the Episode, a near miss still scores, so give your best estimate rather than skipping.
• Set a ninja nickname if you want your scores on the daily Top 5; no email is needed.
