About Guess Daily

Guess Daily calls itself a little play every day: ten quick games for a curious mind. The home page shows the date, notes that new daily games arrive at midnight, and tracks how many of the day's games you have played.

The games are Borderline (name the country from its outline), Fives (a five-letter word in six guesses), Tint (match a colour by eye), Career (name the footballer from their career path), Crest (a three by three football grid), Keyframe for anime and for video games (six stills, hardest first), Ensign (a flag revealed a tile at a time), Anthem (name the country from its national anthem) and Encore (name the song from a second of it). A Pick for me button chooses one at random.

Playing at least five of the ten each day builds a streak, and there is a leaderboard and optional account. Besides the daily rounds there is endless play. The site is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Norwegian and Japanese.

It suits players who like variety and want several different -dle style games in one place.

How to play Guess Daily

  1. Open the home page and choose one of the ten games, or press Pick for me.
  2. Play the day's round: guess the country, word, colour, player, still, flag, anthem or song.
  3. Complete at least five games to keep your daily streak.
  4. Check the leaderboard and come back after midnight for new rounds.

Tips

  • Mix categories you are strong in with ones you are not; five games count for the streak.
  • In Keyframe the first still is the hardest, so guess early only if you are sure.
  • For Borderline and Ensign, coastlines and colour blocks are the strongest early clues.
  • Use headphones for Anthem and Encore; the clips are short.
