Mahjong Solitaire
Clear the day's mahjong board by matching free tiles.
Every day: One mahjong solitaire board each day, the same layout for everyone. You clear the stacked tiles by matching free pairs, with a timer and leaderboard, and a dated archive of past boards. A separate Zen mode offers endless untimed boards with undo, hints and shuffle. New puzzle: Once a day.

Mahjong Solitaire on Ponder Club gives you one tile layout a day. You remove matching pairs of free tiles, those open on a side and not covered, until the board is cleared. The daily board is the same for everyone and is timed for the leaderboard, with an archive of past days.
About Mahjong Solitaire
Mahjong Solitaire is a daily tile game from Ponder Club. Each day there is one board, the same arrangement for every player, built from mahjong tiles stacked into a layout.
You play by matching pairs of identical tiles, but only tiles that are free, meaning open on their left or right edge and not covered by another tile, can be taken. Clearing pairs frees the tiles beneath and beside them, and the aim is to remove the whole board.
The daily board is timed and feeds a leaderboard, and a dated archive lets you replay earlier days. There is also a Zen mode with endless boards, no clock, and undo, hints and shuffle to help. Ponder Club says all of its games are free with no paywalls or subscriptions.
It suits players who like tile-matching patience games and want one shared daily board to clear.
How to play Mahjong Solitaire
- Look over the stacked layout of mahjong tiles.
- Find two identical tiles that are both free, open on a side and uncovered.
- Select the pair to remove them from the board.
- Keep matching free pairs to open up the tiles underneath.
- Clear every tile to finish the board.
Tips
- Plan a few matches ahead so you do not strand tiles you need later.
- Free tiles from the top of stacks first to open the most options.
- In the daily board, matched pairs are fixed, so look before committing to a match.
