FootballGrid is LinkyGrid's daily football puzzle. You place footballer tiles on a grid so that each pair of neighbours played for the same club at some point, and you have five attempts to find every link.
About LinkyGrid FootballGrid
LinkyGrid is a small site of daily connection puzzles, with five fresh modes every day built on countries, films, footballers and Wikipedia topics. FootballGrid gives you a tray of footballers and an empty grid. Every pair of neighbouring tiles must have played for the same club. You place the players, press Check, and see which links hold, with five attempts to complete the grid.
Each puzzle has an Easy and a Hard version, the same for every player that day, with a new set based on your browser's time zone. You can play as a guest; signing in adds statistics, a history and a streak for the leaderboard.
The sister modes on the same site use Wikipedia articles, countries, films and World Cup players, so a player who likes one usually finds another to try next.
