Jinx Bee
Rate itTwo cue words a day: find the word that links them, and try to say the same thing as everyone else.
Every day: One numbered pair of cue words a day (#585 on 5 October), the same for everyone, to link with the word you think others will say. New puzzle: Once a day.

Jinx Bee is a daily word-association puzzle built on the playground game of saying the same word at the same time. Each day shows two cue words, such as pocket and hamster, and you type the connecting word that comes to mind; meaning matters, not spelling.
About Jinx Bee
Jinx Bee takes its name from the jinx you call when two people say the same thing at once. The daily puzzle gives two cue words side by side, and you think of a single word that connects them. A row of steps under the answer box tracks your tries, and a lightbulb offers a hint when you are stuck.
The site describes it as a playful puzzle where meaning matters, not spelling: the aim is to think alike, landing on the link word others had in mind, or to follow your own path and see where it leads. Each daily is numbered and dated, the same for everyone.
Beside the daily there is a Play with Friends mode, where you and a friend try to reach the same word together, and the home page advertises apps for iPhone and Android. It suits players who enjoy word association and quick, sociable puzzles.
