Every day: A new numbered secret rule each day, the same for every player: the Camper only packs things that follow it, and you have 32 questions about things to bring to work it out before you guess the rule. New puzzle: Midnight in your own time zone.

I'm Going Camping is a free daily take on the old party game. The Camper only brings things that follow a secret rule, new each day. You type things into Can I bring..., watch each one land on the bring or stay-home side, collect free clues between guesses, and name the rule in as few questions as you can.
About I'm Going Camping
I'm Going Camping turns the old road-trip game into a numbered daily puzzle. The Camper is packing for a trip but will only bring things that follow one secret rule. The home page shows the date and the day's number, and everyone who plays that day is working on the same rule.
You ask by typing any physical thing into the Can I bring... box. A yes lands on the left under You can bring; a no lands on the right under You can't bring. Things that could go either way are judged by their most common kind, so a chair is refused while an office chair might not be. After each guess the Camper also hands you a free clue, alternating between something it is bringing and something it is not, and these do not use up guesses.
The rule might be about what things are or about how their names are spelled, so the How to play page suggests testing pairs that differ in one way, such as a ball and a beach ball. You may ask about 32 things in a game. When you think you have it, press I know the rule and type it; miss all your rule guesses and the rule is revealed. Your score counts every question plus every rule guess, and there is one appeal per game if you think a rule guess was wrongly refused.
Hard mode gives a clue only after several guesses instead of every one. When you finish, a share result turns each guess into a coloured square without giving away the rule, and stats track games played, solves, guesses per solve and your streak. It suits players who like hidden-rule puzzles such as Zendo or Eleusis and enjoy thinking up good test cases.
How to play I'm Going Camping
- Open imgoingcamping.app and press Play to start the day's numbered puzzle.
- Read the first free clue: one thing the Camper is or is not bringing.
- Type a thing into Can I bring... and send it; it lands on the left if the Camper will bring it and on the right if not.
- After each guess read the new free clue and compare the two sides to form an idea of the rule.
- When you are confident, press I know the rule and type it in; you have 32 questions about things before the box switches to rule guesses only.
- Share your result as coloured squares and come back the next day to keep your streak.

Tips
- Test pairs that differ in only one way (a ball and a beach ball, a cup and a tin cup) to separate meaning from spelling.
- A no is useful: each refused item rules ideas out, so do not avoid risky guesses.
- Check spelling patterns early, such as double letters, first letters or word length, before chasing ideas about what things are.
- Be specific when an item could be of more than one kind, because the Camper judges the most common kind.
- Do not guess the rule too early: every rule guess counts toward your score.
Questions
When does a new I'm Going Camping rule appear?
The game loads the puzzle for your device's date and switches at midnight in your own time zone.
Is the rule the same for everyone?
Yes. Each date has one numbered puzzle, so everyone playing that day is looking for the same rule.
How many guesses do I get?
You can ask about 32 things per game. Free clues and rule guesses do not use these up, but your score counts both questions and rule guesses.
What kind of rules are there?
The rule can be about what things are or about how their names are spelled.
Is there a harder version?
Yes. Turn on Hard mode in Settings before you start and the Camper gives a free clue only after several guesses instead of after every one.
