Vault (Hemiscope)
Solve three riddles, each a single digit, to crack the day's safe.
Every day: A new safe every day: three riddles whose answers are single digits from 0 to 9 and together make the combination, with three attempts and correct digits locking in. New puzzle: Midnight (Hemiscope says a new puzzle lands every midnight).

Vault is a daily riddle safe from Hemiscope. Three riddles each have a one-digit answer, such as how many wings a bird has, and the three digits form the combination. Turn the dial to each answer and try the safe; correct digits lock in, so a wrong attempt only sends you back to the riddles you missed.
About Vault (Hemiscope)
Vault is one of the daily games on Hemiscope, a site best known for its country guessing puzzle. Each day's safe shows three riddles, mostly trivia questions with numeric answers between 0 and 9: the bones in the human ear, the national flags that are not rectangular, the wings on a bird. You set a dial for each one and then try the combination.
You have three attempts. Digits you got right lock in place after a try, so a wrong attempt only means rethinking the riddles that did not click. A Practice tab offers extra safes, and an Answers page lists past solutions.
The daily safe changes at midnight and is the same for every player. Hemiscope is made by Kyle Tora and is also available as an iPhone app. Vault suits trivia fans who want a one-minute puzzle with a satisfying click at the end.
