GuessWord: daily word game
Rate itA five-letter word a day in six tries, in English, Arabic, Russian or Ukrainian, offline.
Every day: One numbered five-letter word of the day, the same for everybody who plays in a given language, guessed in six tries. A new word comes at midnight. New puzzle: Midnight (the listing does not name a time zone).

GuessWord is an Android word game in the Wordle mould: one hidden five-letter word a day, six tries, and coloured tiles after each guess. It plays fully offline with no account, in four languages, and an Infinity mode keeps going with extra words once the daily one is done.
About GuessWord: daily word game
GuessWord is a word-guessing game for Android from Mamoru Software. Each day it sets one numbered five-letter word, the same for every player, and gives you six tries to find it. After each guess the tiles change colour: cyan for a letter in the right spot, coral for a letter that is in the word somewhere else, and grey for a letter that is not in the word.
The game can be played in English, Arabic, Russian or Ukrainian. Switching the language in the settings changes the dictionary, the on-screen keyboard and the interface together, and each language has its own daily word. A recent update gave the Arabic version a keyboard in a real Arabic layout and rebuilt its word lists so that daily answers are plain dictionary words.
The dictionary ships inside the app, so the daily word and everything else work in airplane mode; the connection is only used for ads. There is no sign-up, no email and no password, and your progress stays on your phone.
Once today's word is solved, Infinity mode offers more words, each with a streak of its own. Extra words after the first show an ad. A hint button reveals one letter, but a win with a hint does not count toward your streak. A statistics screen shows games played, win percentage, current and longest streak, a guess distribution and ten achievements, and a finished day can be shared as a grid of coloured squares. A one-time purchase removes the ads.
It suits players who want a plain Wordle-style daily on their phone that works without a connection, and players who want to play it in Arabic, Russian or Ukrainian as well as English.
How to play GuessWord: daily word game
- Open the app and pick the game language in the settings if you want one other than the default.
- Type any five-letter word on the on-screen keyboard and press Enter to submit it.
- Read the tiles: cyan means the letter is in the right spot, coral means it is in the word but elsewhere, grey means it is not in the word.
- Use those clues for your next guess; the keyboard keeps the same colours so you can see which letters are left.
- Find the word within six tries, then share your grid or carry on in Infinity mode.

Tips
- Leave the hint alone if you care about your streak: a win with a hint does not count toward it.
- The daily word differs by language, so switching to Russian or Ukrainian gives you another daily puzzle to solve.
- Since the game is offline, you can keep your daily streak going on a flight or with no signal.
Questions
Does GuessWord need an internet connection?
