GnarlyQ is a daily push-your-luck trivia game. Each of its five rounds shows ten options, five of them right; you tap the ones you are sure of and lock in your score before a wrong tap wipes out the round. It takes about three minutes.

About GnarlyQ

GnarlyQ turns a trivia list into a push-your-luck game. Each day brings five rounds, and each round asks a question with ten possible answers, of which five are correct. You tap the answers you know, one at a time, and every right one adds to your score.

The catch is that a single wrong tap ends the round, and you lose the points you were building in it. So after each correct answer you choose: tap another, or lock in what you have. Knowing when to stop matters as much as knowing the answers.

Everyone gets the same puzzle each day, and a full game takes about three minutes. It suits players who like list trivia such as Sporcle quizzes and enjoy the tension of deciding whether to risk one more.

How to play GnarlyQ

  1. Open GnarlyQ and read the first round's question.
  2. Tap an answer you are sure of among the ten options; five are correct.
  3. After each right answer, decide whether to tap another or lock in your points.
  4. A wrong tap ends the round; play all five rounds and compare your total.

Tips

  • Tap your surest answers first, then lock in before guessing.
  • Three or four sure answers locked in beat five attempted and one wrong.
  • Read all ten options before tapping; some wrong ones are close to right ones.
