Daily Tens

Name the day's top ten before you make five mistakes.

Every day: One top-ten list a day, the same for everyone, such as the most populous US states or Steven Spielberg's highest-grossing films: name as many of the ten as you can before five wrong answers. New puzzle: Once a day; the site does not state the time.

Daily Tens gives you one category a day, from US states by population to best-selling electric cars, and asks you to name its top ten. Guess as many as you can before five wrong answers end the round, then see your percentile against other players.

About Daily Tens

Daily Tens is a list trivia game that has run since May 2024, with one new top-ten category each day. Recent lists have covered the highest-grossing Steven Spielberg films, the most populous US states without an NFL team, Parks and Recreation characters by screen time and the best-selling electric vehicles in the US.

You type answers in any order. Correct ones fill their place on the list; five incorrect guesses end the game. When you finish, the game shows your percentile compared with everyone who played that day's list, and gives you a result to share.

Every player gets the same list on the same day. Past lists are kept in an archive, and an optional account saves your streak across devices.

It suits fans of Sporcle-style list quizzes who want one short, shared challenge a day, with a mix of geography, film, television, sport and business topics.

How to play Daily Tens

  1. Open dailytens.com and press Play to see today's category.
  2. Type answers you think are in the top ten, in any order.
  3. Correct answers fill their spot; each wrong one counts as a strike.
  4. Keep going until you have all ten or five wrong answers, then check your percentile.

Tips

  • Start with the obvious leaders: the top two or three are usually easiest.
  • Read the category carefully: words like without or by screen time narrow it a lot.
  • Play the archive to learn the kinds of lists the game uses.
