Futbolle Football Top 10
Rate itName all ten answers to a daily football list before your five lives run out.
Every day: One numbered football question a day, the same for every player, with ten ranked answers to name before five wrong guesses run out. New puzzle: Midnight in your own time zone.

Football Top 10 is Futbolle's daily take on the Tenable format. Each day brings one football question, such as most Champions League appearances in a period or a club's record signings, and ten empty ranked slots. Type names to fill the board; five wrong guesses end the round.
About Futbolle Football Top 10
Football Top 10 is one of the daily football games on Futbolle, a site that also runs Career Path, Football Grid and Missing 11. The site calls it Football Tenable, after the TV quiz format, and notes that players also know it as Tenaball or footy Tenable. Each puzzle is numbered and dated, and everyone who plays on a given day gets the same question.
A round shows the question at the top and ten numbered slots below it, each with the flag of the answer's nationality as a small clue. You type a name; if it is on the list it drops into its own rank with the figure that put it there where the list has one, such as a fee or a number of appearances. Order does not matter, so you can name the seventh answer before the first. A surname alone is usually accepted, unless two answers on the list share it. Every miss costs one of five lives, and typing the same wrong name twice costs nothing.
The questions come from a rotation of more than 100 lists built on real records: all-time goal and appearance leaders of the big leagues, national teams and the Champions League, big-club record holders, record transfer fees, recent Ballon d'Or and UEFA award rankings, and World Cup and EURO stats. The site says it avoids narrow lists, so that all ten answers are names a fan can bring to mind.
There is no score beyond how many of the ten you found, and the result you can share is a row of squares that gives none of the answers away. The game plays in the browser with no sign-up, in English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Italian. It suits football fans who know the names and want a test of how many they can bring to mind under pressure.

- Type the name of a player or club you think is on the list and press Enter.
- A correct answer drops into its rank on the board with its figure shown; order does not matter.

Tips
- Start with the obvious name at the top of the list to get a slot for free.
- Use the flags beside each slot to narrow down who is missing.
- When one decade runs dry, think of players from an earlier or later one.
- Save uncertain guesses for the end, since five lives go quickly.
- Give a full name when two answers on the same list could share a surname.
