Futbolle Squad Builder
Rate itEleven clubs, eleven positions: name a player from each and build the XI that best fits the day's target.
Every day: One numbered puzzle a day, the same for everyone: eleven clubs that come up in turn and one target out of five that rotate (youngest XI, oldest XI, most famous XI, 11 different nations, most players from one nation). You choose Easy, Normal or Hard, which changes the clubs drawn but not the target. New puzzle: Midnight in the player's own time zone.

Futbolle Squad Builder is a daily football puzzle where a club appears each round and you name one of its current players to place in your starting eleven. Each day has one target, such as the youngest XI, the most famous XI or eleven different nations, and your team is scored against it. It is free, needs no sign-up and has three levels.
About Futbolle Squad Builder
Squad Builder is one of the daily football games on Futbolle, the site behind Career Path, Football Grid and Football Bingo. Each day brings a numbered puzzle (#97 on 19 October 2026): eleven clubs that come up one at a time, a 4-2-3-1 formation on the pitch and a target for the day.
Five targets rotate and the same one never comes two days running: youngest XI and oldest XI, scored by average age; most famous XI, scored by an average fame rating from 0 to 100 drawn from Wikipedia readership; 11 different nations; and most players from one nation. Age and fame use the average, so an unfinished squad can still be compared.
A round goes like this: you tap an empty circle on the pitch, then type a player who plays for the club shown. Only a goalkeeper goes in goal, the defensive spots refuse forwards, the attacking spots refuse defenders, and midfield takes anyone but a goalkeeper. No player can be used twice.
At the start of each day you pick a level. Easy draws only the 30 best-known clubs and shows each player's age or nation in the search before you pick. Normal is a mixed draw that favours big clubs. Hard draws all 114 clubs with an equal chance and gives you three minutes for the whole XI. Easy and Normal leave out Turkish Süper Lig clubs.
What sets it apart from grid and guess-the-player games is that almost any answer is accepted; the challenge is choosing well, and keeping the hard positions open for the clubs that can fill them. The pool is the current squads of six major leagues, more than 3,000 players, re-synced each season. It suits fans who follow today's squads closely, and plays in the browser in English or Turkish with no account.

- Repeat for each of the eleven clubs until the starting eleven is full, then read your score against the target.

Tips
- Fill the goalkeeper and other awkward positions early, so a club with a thin squad does not leave you stuck with one spot it cannot fill.
- Pick for the target: academy players on a youngest day, veterans on an oldest day, household names on a most famous day, and a spread of passports on a nations day.
- Midfield spots take anyone but a goalkeeper, so keep one free as a fallback for a club where you only know a forward or a defender.
- Easy shows each player's age or nation in the search, which helps on age and nation days when you are learning the squads.
Questions
What time does Squad Builder reset?
The clubs and the day's target change at midnight in your own time zone.
How is Squad Builder scored?
It depends on the day's target. Youngest and oldest XI use the average age, most famous XI the average fame from 0 to 100 based on Wikipedia readership, and the nation targets count how many nations, or how many players from one nation, are in your XI.
What do Easy, Normal and Hard change?
The target is the same on every level; the clubs change. Easy uses the 30 best-known clubs and shows age or nation in the search, Normal is a mixed draw, and Hard draws all 114 clubs equally with a three-minute limit.
Which players can I use?
Any player in the current squad of the club shown, from the six major leagues the game draws on, as long as he fits the position you chose and you have not used him already.
Is Squad Builder free?
Yes. It plays in the browser with no account. The page loads Google's ad script.
