Globs (Three Emojis)
Merge word tiles by their hidden groups of four until one tile is left.
Every day: New daily puzzles at midnight UTC in Mini and Big sizes, in English (US and GB), German and Spanish: merge dozens of word tiles through hidden groups of four down to one final tile. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Globs is a daily word-grouping puzzle from Three Emojis. You start with dozens of word tiles and merge tiles that belong to the same hidden group; four merged items upgrade into a tile for the next level, and you keep going until a single tile remains. Daily puzzles come in Mini and Big sizes in several languages.
About Globs (Three Emojis)
Globs, inspired by Thomas Colthurst's 45x45 puzzle, works like a layered version of Connections. Every tile belongs to a group of four. Tap or drag two tiles together to merge them, which only works if they share a group; you can build a group one tile at a time. When four items of a group are merged, they become a single tile for the next level, which in turn belongs to a group of four at that level, until everything collapses into one final tile.
Sort arranges tiles, Hint reveals emoji clues, and you can tag tiles with colours to keep track of your theories. New daily puzzles appear at midnight UTC in Mini and Big versions for US and British English, German and Spanish, and the site offers Globs in 22 languages in total, some refreshed less often, plus themed puzzles on topics such as NBA basketball or the Linux ecosystem.
Paid members can play every previous daily game from the archive. Three Emojis also makes Hexes and Scrambled. Globs suits players who finish Connections quickly and want a bigger, multi-level grouping puzzle.
How to play Globs (Three Emojis)
- Choose today's Mini or Big puzzle in your language.
- Drag one tile onto another to merge them; it works only if they are in the same group.
- Merge four tiles of a group to upgrade them into one tile for the next level.
- Use Sort, Hint and colour tags to organise your guesses.
- Keep merging until only one tile is left.
Tips
- Start with the Mini puzzle to learn how levels stack.
- Merge in pairs when unsure; you do not need the whole group at once.
- Colour-tag tiles you suspect belong together before trying merges.
- Think about what an upgraded tile could stand for at the next level.
