Hexes on Three EmojisHexes in German

Hexes English puzzle for 3 October 2026: a honeycomb of the letters W, O, D, N, K, L around a golden centre I, below a list of 52 hidden words shown as blanks with three emoji clues each

Hexes is a daily honeycomb word puzzle from Three Emojis. Seven letters sit in a hexagon pattern, and you find as many words as you can that include the golden centre letter; letters can be reused, and a pangram that uses all seven earns bonus points. New puzzles arrive at midnight UTC in English and German.

About Hexes (Three Emojis)

Hexes follows the familiar Spelling Bee format with a few differences. Words need only be two letters long, must contain the centre letter, and may reuse letters. Each puzzle has dozens of possible words, from everyday vocabulary to rarer finds, and the word list scrolls with arrows that can jump to the next word you have not found. Each word in the list is shown as a row of blanks next to three emoji that hint at it, and a hint button gives a further clue about a missing word.

The English puzzles accept American spellings only, and the German puzzles use standard German spelling. Proper nouns, vulgar words and obsolete terms are filtered out, while some common slang, acronyms and abbreviations are kept on purpose. Players can flag words that should not be there.

Each day's puzzle has its own dated page, and paid members can replay every previous daily from the archive. Three Emojis also makes Globs and Scrambled. Hexes suits Spelling Bee fans, including German speakers looking for a version in their language.
