Entaku (円卓)
Seat the guests around a round table so their likes and dislikes add up to the highest happiness.
Every day: A new round table every day, built from the date alone, so every player in the world gets the same guests and the same proven best score that day. New puzzle: Once a day, by date (the exact time is not stated).

Entaku is a daily seating puzzle in Japanese and English. Each guest likes or dislikes the others, and the table's happiness is the sum over every pair of neighbours. Seat everyone to reach the one arrangement with the highest score; the day's table is built from the date and is the same for everyone.
About Entaku (円卓)
Entaku (円卓, round table), by kqmigqkqri, was published on itch.io in September 2026. Around a round table sit a star guest and a handful of lettered guests, A to G or so. Each pair of guests has a like or dislike value, and the happiness of the table is the total over every pair seated side by side. A chain mark means two guests must sit together and a forbidden mark means they must not; these are fixed, and the rest is up to you.
You tap a guest, then a seat, and tap a seated guest to swap. Every table is checked by exhaustive search before it is shown, so among all seatings that obey the marks exactly one reaches the highest happiness. Three stars means you hit that proven maximum exactly. The puzzle's point is that seating the two best friends together every time does not always work: on some tables the greedy choice falls short, and you have to give up a good pair to make the whole table better.
The daily table is generated from the date alone, so anyone playing on the same day gets the same table, numbered (Day #250 in one screenshot). When everyone is seated you can copy a result with your stars and score, without the solution. Today's table is always free in the browser. The page is name your own price: paying anything (or nothing) gets the downloadable full version, which adds 120 practice tables in six chapters, an archive of every past day, and an editor for making your own tables.
It works with mouse or touch, runs on phones, and plays in Japanese or English. It suits players who like small optimisation puzzles with one provable answer.

Tips
- Place the guests with chain and forbidden marks first; they narrow the options most.
- Do not always pair the two guests who like each other most; check what it costs their other neighbours.
- A guest who dislikes many others often belongs between the two they dislike least.
- Swap two seated guests to test small changes instead of starting over.
