The DailyMetro Bruxelles card: Le jeu quotidien du métro, with four line colours

DailyMetro Brussels is a daily Wordle-style game about the four STIB-MIVB metro lines (1, 2, 5 and 6). Type any station and the game colours its lines, the direction to the target, the length of its name and its area green, orange or red, guiding you to the day's station. Classic and Map modes are available.

About DailyMetro Brussels

DailyMetro is a set of free browser games, one per city, made by Eliott, an engineer who builds them in his spare time. The Brussels edition covers the four STIB-MIVB metro lines (1, 2, 5 and 6) and is shown in French, like the local version of the game.

Each day has one hidden station and a day number, the same for everyone. You start with any station you like. For each guess the board shows four clues: the lines it is on, an arrow pointing from your guess toward the target, the number of letters in its name with an arrow for longer or shorter, and its zone or district. Each clue turns green for a match, orange for a partial match or red for a miss.

Besides Classic, a Map mode plays the day on a map of the network. A Normal difficulty gives more hints, while Connoisseur swaps in harder clues such as traffic and name origins. Past days can be replayed, and no account is needed.

It suits locals and transit fans who know their network by heart, as well as visitors who want to learn it one station at a time.

How to play DailyMetro Brussels

  1. Open DailyMetro Brussels and choose Classic mode.
  2. Type the name of any station to make your first guess.
  3. Read the clues: lines, direction to the target, number of letters and area, each coloured green, orange or red.
  4. Use the arrow and shared lines to pick a station closer to the target.
  5. Keep guessing until you find the day's station, then share your result.

Tips

  • Start with a big interchange station: it covers many lines at once.
  • Follow the direction arrow, then use the letter count to choose between nearby candidates.
  • Use the network explorer to learn the lines before trying Connoisseur difficulty.
