About Daily Sudoku Together

Daily Sudoku Together is made by CoolGames and was released in November 2024 as an Activity inside Discord, where people in a server can open it from a voice channel and see each other's progress in a server feed. The same game is now hosted on Yahoo Games and MSN Games, so it plays in any browser without Discord.

The home screen leads with the Daily Sudoku card. Solve the day's grid and the card switches to Completed with a timer counting down to the next puzzle. A strip along the top shows the days of the week you have kept your streak, and a calendar lets you go back to daily puzzles you missed.

Outside the daily there are puzzle packs to work through: Classic 9x9 and Mini 6x6 sudoku, Killer sudoku where dotted cages must add up to the number in their corner, and Chaos sudoku where the boxes are irregular shapes instead of 3x3 squares. Packs unlock with gems earned in play, and there is an optional premium tier.

It suits sudoku players who want one dated puzzle a day as a habit, with variants on hand when one grid is not enough, and Discord groups who like to solve alongside each other.

How to play Daily Sudoku Together

1. Open the game and choose the Daily Sudoku card on the home screen.
2. Fill every empty cell so each digit from 1 to 9 appears once in each row, column and box.
3. Start with the rows, columns or boxes that have the fewest blanks and rule out digits by scanning across.
4. Finish the grid to mark the day complete and extend your streak, then wait for the countdown to the next puzzle.
5. Use the calendar to catch up on earlier daily puzzles, or open the Puzzles tab for Killer, Chaos and Mini packs.

Tips

• In Killer packs, start with small cages: a two-cell cage that sums to 3 can only be 1 and 2.
• In Chaos sudoku, cells where an irregular box crosses a row are the best place to look for a forced digit.
• Play the daily first each day; the streak tracker only counts the Daily Sudoku, not pack puzzles.
