Daily Orbs, still marked as a beta, publishes four puzzles per date. Each is a matching task with a short instruction and a recurring title, for example Foreign Exchange (match each English word to the language it was borrowed from), Capital Gains (match each country or empire to a city that served as its capital), Associated Prints (sort each picture into the category it belongs with) or Like and Subscribe (match each YouTube channel to two of its video titles). Puzzle series return with numbered editions, so regular players will meet familiar formats with new content.

Each puzzle shows three orbs to fill and three hearts as your allowance for mistakes. Correct matches collect orbs; collect enough across the four puzzles and you win the day, shown in the row of orbs under the date.

The date selector and the menu give access to earlier days, so you can catch up on puzzles you missed, and a share button copies your results. The site carries ads and offers a beta membership.

It suits trivia players who prefer matching and sorting to typing answers, and anyone who wants a varied general knowledge set rather than one long quiz.
