Building Guessr
Pin famous buildings on a world map and say if they still stand.
Every day: A Daily Challenge of five famous buildings, the same for every player in the same order: pin each one on a world map and say whether it still stands, is partly ruined or has been demolished. New puzzle: Midnight in your local time (the daily set is built from your device's calendar date).

Building Guessr shows a photo of a famous building, monument or landmark and asks you to place it on a world map. Each round also asks whether it still stands, is partly ruined or is gone. The Daily Challenge gives everyone the same five buildings each day, and other modes draw from a pool of 945.
About Building Guessr
Building Guessr is a map guessing game about architecture. Each round shows a photograph of a building, bridge, tower, temple or monument, and you drop a pin where you think it is. Then you say whether the structure still stands, is partly ruined or has been demolished, which brings a bit of history into the geography.
The Daily Challenge is five buildings, the same for everyone and in the same order, generated from the date so scores can be compared. Location is worth up to 1,000 points depending on the distance from the real spot, the standing status up to 500 more, and fast answers earn a time bonus. Completing the daily keeps a streak going, stored in your browser.
Outside the daily you can filter the pool of 945 buildings from more than 110 countries by region, era and type, or try Speed Run, Expert, Marathon and Lost Buildings modes, with easy, medium and hard settings. Photos come from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, and each building has a short history and a hint. The site also has guides and articles on architecture styles. It is free and needs no account.
How to play Building Guessr

Tips

- Climate clues in the photo, such as vegetation and sky, help narrow the continent.
