Blind Corners (Arkai)
Fire beams into a dark box and work out where its hidden mirrors sit.
Every day: Three new boxes every day (Easy, Medium and Hard), the same for everyone, with every earlier day still playable. New puzzle: Midnight, local time (the day's boxes are worked out on your device from the date).

Blind Corners is a daily black-box deduction puzzle on Arkai. A dark grid hides a few mirrors; fire a beam in from any edge and you only see where it comes out. Mark where the mirrors must be until every beam is explained, using as few beams as the par. There are three boxes a day, the same for everyone.
About Blind Corners (Arkai)
Blind Corners is one of the daily deduction puzzles on Arkai, a small portal of free browser games with no account, ads or third-party code.
Each day brings three boxes, Easy, Medium and Hard, worked out from the date so everyone plays the same ones. Each box is a square grid with a few hidden mirrors set at angles. Arrows around the edge fire a beam in; it turns at every mirror it hits, and all you learn is the port where it leaves, shown as a matching number and colour at both ends.
You mark mirrors on the grid as slashes or backslashes, and the game runs the selected beam through your marks so you can see whether it explains what happened. Ports whose beams your marks do not yet explain are outlined in red. Every beam costs one point and a wrong check costs two, and finishing within par, which is what Arkai's own solver needed, earns a star. Any layout that no beam could tell apart from the real one counts as solved. Results can be shared without spoilers, and earlier days stay playable.
The puzzle is a cousin of the classic Black Box board game. It suits players who enjoy careful experiments and reasoning about paths you cannot see.
How to play Blind Corners (Arkai)
- Open Blind Corners and choose today's Easy, Medium or Hard box.
- Tap an arrow on the edge to fire a beam and see where it comes out.
- Tap squares inside the box to mark a mirror as a slash or backslash.
- Check that the beam drawn through your marks matches every numbered pair of ports.
- Press Check when every beam is explained, aiming to stay within the par.
Tips
- A beam that comes straight out the opposite side tells you its whole row or column is clear.
- Use the dashed pencil marks for guesses you are not sure of yet; marks cost nothing.
- Fire beams next to a suspected mirror to confirm its angle before checking.
