Wordrest
Seven definitions, seven three-letter starts and 90 seconds to match and solve them all.
Every day: Seven dictionary definitions a day, the same puzzle for everyone, to solve in 90 seconds. The first three letters of each answer are shown in a grid, but not which definition they belong to. New puzzle: 6:00 AM New York time.

Wordrest is a fast daily vocabulary game. You get seven dictionary definitions and 90 seconds to type all seven words. A grid shows the first three letters of each answer, but you have to work out which start goes with which definition. A new puzzle arrives for everyone at 6:00 AM New York time.
About Wordrest
Wordrest, by david146, is a short timed word game played in the browser on itch.io. Each day at 6:00 AM New York time a new puzzle is generated for everyone. It contains seven hidden words, each shown as a dictionary definition, and you have 90 seconds to find them all.
Above the definition sits a grid of seven buttons, each holding the first three letters of one of the answers, such as IDE, KIN, MET or NAT. The definitions come up in random order, so part of the puzzle is spotting which three-letter start fits the clue in front of you. Type the word and press Guess, or press Pass to skip to another definition and come back to it later. Solved starts are crossed out in the grid as you go, and a large countdown shows the seconds left.
If the clock runs out, the game lists the words you missed with their definitions, for example IDENTITY, which began with the IDE start. You can share your result or try again. The maker describes the game as free with no ads, and has asked players for feedback on whether the timer or the words are too hard.
