Word Looper
Rate itTrace a phrase around two crossing rings of letters, with a new loop each day.
Every day: Today's Loop is one two-word phrase a day, the same for everyone on that date, its letters laid around two crossing rings (NEGATIVE SPACES on 7 October 2026). The daily phrases come in a fixed order from a list of 46 that starts again when it runs out. New puzzle: Midnight, local time.

Word Looper hides a word or phrase in loops of letters: you find the starting letter and trace clockwise around the ring to spell it. Today's Loop gives one two-word phrase a day across two rings that cross, and 16 themed levels, Single Mode and Quick Play add more loops to solve.
About Word Looper
Word Looper is a small browser word game credited to Edric Yu and Imani Muya, with thanks to the Oxford 3000 word list and the card game WordARound. Its puzzles are loops: the letters of a word or phrase are set in a circle, and you find the answer by starting at the right letter and tracing clockwise.
The levels teach the idea step by step. Early loops hold one word, then two-word answers in one ring, then two rings side by side where a word may take letters from either loop, and later the rings cross each other at shared points. Blank slots at the top of the screen show how many letters each word has, and blue dashed lines can hint where to trace.
Today's Loop is the daily puzzle: a two-word phrase across two crossing rings, chosen by the date, so everyone playing on the same day gets the same loop. On 7 October 2026 it was NEGATIVE and SPACES, spread over rings of 8 and 6 letter slots. The phrases follow a fixed list of 46 that repeats.
You can rotate the loops with on-screen buttons or two fingers on a phone, since the letters are turned around the ring. A hint button can be switched on in the settings and refills every 30 seconds. Beyond the daily loop there are 16 numbered levels, a ten-loop Single Mode and a five-loop Quick Play.
How to play Word Looper
- Open word-looper.edric.dev and choose Today's Loop.
- Look at the blank slots at the top to see how long each of the two words is.
- Find a word's first letter on the loops and trace clockwise from it, letter by letter.
- Where the rings cross, a word can carry on along the other loop; keep going until the slots fill.
- Turn on the hint button in Settings if you are stuck; a new hint is ready every 30 seconds.
Tips
- Use the slot lengths: an 8-letter and a 6-letter word narrow down which letters can start each one.
- Rotate the loops so the letters read upright; it is much easier to spot a word when it is not upside down.
- Common endings like -ING, -ES or -IVE are easy to spot around a ring and show you where a word finishes.
- The phrase is usually a familiar pair, so once you have one word, think what often follows or comes before it.
