Witty Ditty
Rate itRead the clue and find the two rhyming words it describes.
Every day: Four new rhyming clues a day, the same for everyone, one at each level (Easy, Medium, Hard and Very Hard); on 6 October 2026 the Easy clue was A boring head, a four and a five-letter answer. New puzzle: Daily (each day's puzzles are dated from 04:00 UTC, midnight US Eastern daylight time).

Witty Ditty gives you a short clue each day for a pair of words that rhyme, such as A boring head for a four and a five-letter rhyme. There are four puzzles a day, from Easy to Very Hard, with letter boxes that show how long each word is and a hint button that reveals letters.
About Witty Ditty
Witty Ditty is built on the old rhyming-pair riddle. Each clue describes a two-word phrase whose words rhyme or nearly rhyme, and the boxes under it give the length of each word, such as (4, 5). You type the answer letter by letter and submit it.
There are four Daily Ditties every day. Easy uses simple clues and everyday rhymes and the game suggests it for children and warm-ups; Medium uses harder words; Hard leans on cryptic clues and lateral thinking; and Very Hard uses obscure words or clues meant to mislead. Easy, Medium and Hard give you five attempts, while Very Hard allows unlimited guesses but only a few hints.
The hint button reveals letters, which turn yellow in the boxes. A timer runs while you play, and the stats panel keeps your guess distribution and a streak, which grows on any day you solve at least one of the four. Select Puzzle on each level lets you pick another day's clue. The game began on 16 September 2026.
It suits players who like Twofer Goofer or the rhyming riddles on a puzzle page, and the four levels make it easy to play with children.

Tips
- Find a plain synonym for each part of the clue first, then look for rhyming versions of them.
- Use the word lengths: a four and a five-letter pair often share the same last three or four letters.
- Save hints on Very Hard, where they are limited, and try a few guesses first since misses cost nothing there.
