WortSuchSpiel (formerly Wördle)
Guess the day's five-letter German word in six tries.
Every day: A new five-letter German word each day, the same for everyone, with six tries. New puzzle: Midnight on your device clock.

WortSuchSpiel, formerly called Wördle, is a German word game in the Wordle style. Each day there is one new five-letter German word for everyone and six tries to find it, and coloured tiles show which letters are right. The old wördle.de address now redirects to it.
About WortSuchSpiel (formerly Wördle)
WortSuchSpiel is a German take on Wordle that started out under the name Wördle. With version 2.0 its developer, who signs his notes Jörn, renamed it so it could not be confused with the original game, adding in the changelog that the decision was not voluntary. The old wördle.de address now forwards to wortsuchspiel.de.
The game itself works like Wordle. You enter a German word of five letters, submit it and see which letters are in the right place, which are in the word but elsewhere and which are not in it at all. You have six tries, and everyone gets the same word on the same day, so the site encourages you to share your result with friends.
The help page explains what kind of words are used. Answers can be nouns or other kinds of words, but nouns are always singular and other words are always in their basic form, for example Tafel, gehen or eisig. The changelog shows the word list being cleaned up over time, with plurals and odd words removed and new words added.
The game keeps your current and longest winning streaks, can transfer statistics to another device with a code, and has a setting to finish a game you started after midnight has passed.
