Every day: One VOCALOID song a day, the same for everyone, to name from its opening clip in six tries. New puzzle: Midnight by the player's own device clock (the song is picked by the local date).

VOCALOID Heardle is a fan-made daily guessing game for vocal synth music. Each day everyone gets the same song: press play, hear the first second, and type its title. Every miss or skip unlocks a longer clip, up to sixteen seconds over six tries.
About VOCALOID Heardle
VOCALOID Heardle takes the Heardle formula and fills it with songs sung by Hatsune Miku and the other VOCALOID voices. The song list comes from VocaDB, and the page is dressed like an old NicoNico video page, with a dark video frame, view counts and scrolling comments over the clip. It is a fan project and says it is not affiliated with Crypton Future Media, NicoNico or VocaDB.
The daily puzzle starts with a one second clip from the start of the song. You type a guess, pick a title from the suggestions and submit, or skip to hear more. The clip grows to 2, 4, 7, 11 and 16 seconds, and you have six tries in all. When the round ends the cover art and song details appear, and you can copy your result to share.
Besides the daily song there is an Unlimited mode with difficulty filters for practice, and an Archive of past days to catch up on. Songs are graded Free, Easy, Medium, Hard and ???, with milestones based on NicoNico view tiers, and the page keeps your stats, streaks, achievements and bookmarked songs. Global rankings show which songs players find easiest and hardest.
The interface can be switched between English, Spanish, Japanese and Korean, with options for how song titles are shown. It suits anyone who knows the NicoNico era of VOCALOID music, from the Hall of Myths classics like Senbonzakura and Melt to newer hits.
How to play VOCALOID Heardle
- Open the Daily tab and press the play button to hear the first second of the day's song.
- Type the song title in the guess box and pick it from the suggestions.
- Press Submit to guess, or Skip to hear a longer clip without guessing.
- Each wrong guess or skip unlocks more of the intro, up to 16 seconds.
- Name the song within six tries to win, then copy your result to share it.
Tips
- Some songs are quiet in the first second, so a skip to the two second clip can be worth more than a blind guess.
- Play a few rounds in Unlimited mode with the Easy filter to learn the most viewed songs before the daily.
- Use the Archive tab to play the days you missed; it tracks how many you have solved.
