Unscrabbled
Trace words on a daily 8x8 board of Scrabble tiles, where long words earn extra turns and score far more.
Every day: A new 8x8 board of Scrabble tiles each day, the same for everyone, with weekly high scores. New puzzle: Once a day.

Unscrabbled is a daily word grid built for Scrabble players. You trace words through touching tiles on an 8x8 board, and each word costs or earns turns depending on its length. Scores use Scrabble letter values with a multiplier that doubles for every extra letter, so long words are worth far more.
About Unscrabbled
Unscrabbled is a free browser word game with a new 8x8 board of wooden Scrabble-style tiles every day. Each tile shows its letter value, and you find words by dragging through neighbouring tiles horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Words must be at least two letters long.
The twist is the turn system. You start with seven turns and can play at most fifty. Short words of four letters or fewer use up a turn, while longer words give turns back: one for five letters, two for six, three for seven and more beyond. The game ends when you run out.
Scoring rewards both rare letters and length. The game takes the average Scrabble value of the letters in your word and multiplies it by a base score that doubles with each extra letter, from 4 points for two letters to 512 for eight. Words that start and end on the same letter score double.
The weekly high score table lets you compare with other players. It suits Scrabble and Boggle fans who like planning for long, high-value words.
