Timedle
Rate itSixteen daily history games in one place, from guessing the year to sorting a timeline.
Every day: Sixteen small history and knowledge games, each with a new numbered puzzle every day that is the same for every player, and daily, weekly and monthly leaderboards. New puzzle: Once a day; each game's puzzle is numbered and dated.

Timedle is a site of daily history games. Each day every game has a new puzzle: guess the year of an event in Yeardle, put six events in order in Chrono, name who said a quote in Quotle, identify a battle, an artifact or a landmark. Scores feed shared leaderboards by day, week, month and all time.
About Timedle
Timedle describes itself as a small team's take on Wordle with a history twist. Rather than one puzzle, it gathers a set of daily games on one site, each with its own page, its own numbered puzzle for the day and a leaderboard.
Most are about dates. Yeardle gives you a historical event, such as a change of ruler in the Majapahit Empire, and a handful of tries, shown as hearts, to type the year, with feedback on whether to go higher or lower. Historle shows three pictures of events from one year, Landmark Est asks when a famous landmark was built, Pop Culture dates well-known moments, and Stample asks for the artwork on a US postage stamp or the year it was issued.
Others ask who or what. Quotle gives you six tries to name who said a famous quote, Whodle and Biodle have you work out a famous person, Battle Guessr and Artifact Guessr name a battle or a museum object from clues, and Chrono and Birthle ask you to sort six events or six people into order. Time Invent covers inventions and science, Today in History collects the day's anniversaries, and Soccerdle and Geo Worldle step outside history into football and geography.
The games are free in the browser with adverts. Each has a how-to-play section at the foot of its page, and some offer an unlimited practice mode after the daily round. It suits history fans who want several short puzzles a day from one place.
How to play Timedle
- Open Timedle and pick a game from the list on the home page or the menu.
- Read the day's clue, such as a historical event, a quote or a set of images.
- Enter your answer: a year on the keypad, a name, or events dragged into order, depending on the game.
- Use the feedback after each guess, such as higher or lower for a year, to narrow it down.
- Finish within the game's tries, share your result, and check the leaderboard before moving to the next game.

Tips
- In the year games, halve the range with each guess and use the higher or lower feedback; switch AD/BC when the event is ancient.
- For sorting games like Chrono and Birthle, anchor the one event or person you are surest of first.
- Play the games that suit you daily for the streak and leaderboard, and try the others when you have time.
