Thwordle is a Thai version of Wordle with one numbered puzzle per day. You guess a Thai word on a full Thai keyboard, and the colours show which characters are right, misplaced or absent. It also has an unlimited mode and a special mode.

About Thwordle

Thwordle brings the daily word puzzle to Thai. Each day has a numbered puzzle (day 1719 on 3 October 2026), and everyone gets the same word.

It was made by Thai developer Manassarn Manoonchai, known online as narze, and the code is open on GitHub. He has written about why Thai is harder to fit into the format: there are many more characters than in English, and vowels and tone marks sit above or below consonants.

You type guesses on an on-screen Thai keyboard. Characters in the right spot turn green, characters elsewhere in the word turn yellow, and the rest go grey. A special rule helps with stacked marks: when you find a consonant in the word, its vowel or tone mark is filled in automatically.

It suits Thai speakers who want a short daily word challenge in their own script. The same author has since launched Wordding (word.in.th), a daily Thai word-ladder game linked from the menu.

How to play Thwordle

  1. Open Thwordle and close the welcome notes.
  2. Type a Thai word on the on-screen keyboard and press enter.
  3. Read the colours: green is the right character in the right place, yellow is in the word elsewhere, grey is not in the word.
  4. Keep guessing, up to six tries, to find the day's word.
  5. Check your statistics, or try the Unlimited mode for extra rounds.

Tips

  • Begin with common vowels such as า and common consonants such as ก, น, ร and ม.
  • Watch for marks added automatically: they tell you which vowel or tone goes with a found consonant.
  • Short everyday words are more likely than rare compounds.
