About The Magical Ferry
The Magical Ferry builds on the classic logic riddle of the farmer who must cross a river with a fox, a hen and a sack of grain. Here the passengers come from fairy tales and further afield: foxes, hens, wolves, sheep, a sentient cabbage, a princess and a witch, then fairies, dragons, unicorns, wizards, goblins and more. Each creature has a weight, the ferry has a limited capacity, and the day's puzzle lists which passengers cannot be left together without the ferryman. Some puzzles add luggage or passengers who get seasick.
You tap creatures to load them onto the ferry, send it across, unload, and come back, planning the order so that nobody on either bank is ever left in a bad pairing. The puzzle is solved when everyone and everything is on the far side.
The game has a daily challenge that is the same for every player and a streak for coming back each day, set in a forest scene with a small wooden boat. It suits players who like short logic puzzles with a story flavour rather than numbers or words.
