About Szó reggelt!

Szó reggelt! brings the Wordle formula to Hungarian. Every day there is one hidden word of five letters, the same for all players, and the aim is to find it in six tries or fewer.

You type real Hungarian words, using a keyboard with the letters of the Hungarian alphabet. After each guess the tiles change colour: one colour for a letter in the right place, another for a letter that is in the word but somewhere else, and grey for a letter that is not there at all. Each guess narrows down the answer. The on-screen keyboard has the accented Hungarian vowels, such as Í, Ó, Ö, Ő and Ú, as keys of their own.

Szó reggelt! (a pun on good morning) lists the solutions of earlier days, so you can check yesterday's word.

It suits Hungarian speakers and learners who want their daily word puzzle in their own language.

How to play Szó reggelt!

1. Type any five-letter Hungarian word.
2. Read the colours: right place, wrong place, or not in the word.
3. Use the clues to choose your next word.
4. Find the word within six tries.
