Summit pyramid for 5 November 2026 at the start on a desktop: a fixed green 2 on top, scrambled tiles below and 7, 2, -9, 2, -7 along the base, with Hint and I'm done

Summit is a daily number puzzle on PuzzleLab. The numbers in a pyramid are mixed up, and you swap pairs until each one equals the sum of the two beneath it. The challenge is to solve it in as few moves as possible, with a hint if you need it.

About Summit (PuzzleLab)

Summit is one of the free daily puzzles on PuzzleLab, a small collection of browser games with no sign-up. It is the game the PuzzleLab home page puts first for new players.

The board is a pyramid of fifteen number tiles in five rows, with negative numbers mixed in. In a finished pyramid every number equals the sum of the two numbers directly below it. The top tile is fixed and shown in green. The other tiles start in the wrong places, and you drag one onto another to swap them.

There is no move limit. The game counts every swap, so the challenge is to get the whole pyramid to add up in as few moves as you can. A Hint button helps when you are stuck, and I'm done ends the round. The pyramid is generated from the date in US Pacific time, so everyone gets the same one and a new one arrives at midnight there.

It suits players who like mental arithmetic and want a short number puzzle that takes a few minutes. It plays the same on a phone or a desktop browser, and PuzzleLab shows no ads.

How to play Summit (PuzzleLab)

  1. Open the day's pyramid. The green tile at the top is fixed.
  2. Drag a number onto another tile to swap the two. Each swap adds one to the move count.
  3. Arrange the tiles so every number equals the sum of the two directly below it.
  4. Press Hint if you are stuck, or I'm done to end the round.

Tips

  • The top number is fixed from the start, so begin by finding the pair in the row below that adds up to it.
  • Work from the bottom row up, since each row fixes the one above.
  • Check small sums first: they leave fewer options.

Questions

Is it daily?

Yes. A new pyramid is generated from the date in US Pacific time, so it changes at midnight there and is the same for everyone.

What is the rule?

Each number must equal the sum of the two directly below it. The top number never moves.

Is there a move limit?

No. The game counts your swaps, and the aim is to finish in as few as you can.

Is there help?

Yes, a Hint button below the board.
