The New York Post publishes three free sudokus every day on its games pages: an easy, a medium and a hard grid. Each one is dated and numbered (the easy grid for 2 October 2026 was Easy Sudoku No. 2651), and the page lets you pick from the last few days. It plays in the browser with ads.

About Sudoku (New York Post)

The New York Post's games section has a daily sudoku in three strengths, each on its own page: Easy, Medium and Hard. Every grid is dated and numbered in a running series, so all players get the same puzzle on the same day; on 2 October 2026 the easy and hard grids were both number 2651.

The rules are the classic ones. Fill the 9x9 grid so that every row, every column and every 3x3 box contains the numbers 1 to 9 exactly once. Some squares start filled in, and the rest follow by logic.

The puzzles run in an embedded player that opens on a date picker showing today and the previous few days, with more available by loading further back. It records whether each puzzle is started or completed and how long you took, and an ad may play before a puzzle loads.

It suits sudoku solvers who want a free daily grid at a chosen difficulty without an account, and Post readers already playing its crosswords and word games.
