Sudoku (ABC)
The Spanish newspaper ABC's daily sudokus, from a small Mini grid to a subscriber-only Difícil.
Every day: New sudokus each day at four levels, Mini, Fácil, Medio and Difícil, the same for every reader; Medio and Difícil are for ABC subscribers. New puzzle: Once a day; the site does not state the time.

ABC, the Madrid daily, publishes a new set of sudokus every day on its puzzles page at four levels: Mini, Fácil, Medio and Difícil. Mini and Fácil are free to play in the browser; Medio and Difícil need an ABC subscription.
About Sudoku (ABC)
ABC's Pasatiempos section, next to its crossword, Notigrama, Word Guess, autodefinido, word wheel and word search, has its own sudoku page. Each day it offers four puzzles: a small Mini grid for a quick solve, and three full 9x9 grids at Fácil, Medio and Difícil. Everyone who opens a level that day gets the same grid.
The rules are those of classic sudoku: fill the grid so that every row, every column and every 3x3 box holds the digits 1 to 9 once. The player shades alternate boxes in grey so they are easy to tell apart, and gives you a number pad, an eraser, a notes mode (Apuntes) for pencil marks, a hint button (Pista), an undo, a timer and a choice of colour theme. You press Empezar to start the day's grid.
The Mini and Fácil grids are free, with advertising on the page. Medio and Difícil are marked Suscríbete and open only to ABC subscribers.
It suits Spanish readers who want a daily sudoku from their newspaper, and anyone who likes to start with an easy grid and move up as the week goes on.
