Every day: A new mission every day: one intercepted message of several words, the same for every player, decoded word by word from clues. New puzzle: Once a day; the site does not say at what hour.

Spydle is a free daily spy puzzle in the browser. Each day's mission is an intercepted message hidden behind a row of blank words; you reveal it word by word by answering a crossword-style clue for each, with letter feedback and three attempts per word.
About Spydle
Spydle is a daily word puzzle from BULB Studios with a spy theme. Each day there is one mission, the same for every player: an intercepted message shown as rows of blank tiles, one group for each word.
You work through the message in five interceptions. Each gives a clue, such as "Cunning red-furred sly animals", and the number of letters, and you type a guess. Letters are marked in colour as in Wordle, so a wrong guess still tells you which letters sit in the right place, and you have three attempts at each word. Solved words drop into the message, and you can tap any word to switch to it.
When every word is in, the whole message reads out and the mission is complete. The game keeps your games played, win rate and streak, and the official site adds bonus missions beside the daily one.
It suits players who like crossword clues and the feedback of Wordle in one short daily, and the decoded sentence at the end gives each day a small payoff.
How to play Spydle
- Open Spydle and start the day's mission.
- Read the clue for the highlighted word and note its length.
- Type a guess and press Enter; coloured letters show which are right and in place.
- Use the feedback to solve the word within three attempts, then move to the next interception.
- Finish all five to reveal the decoded message.

Tips
- Solve the easiest clue first: tap any word in the message to switch to it.
- Use your first attempt on the likeliest answer, since the coloured letters narrow the next one.
