Relink is a daily word puzzle on Daily Mail Games, built by Puzzlr. Each row of words shares a theme, except for one imposter. You pick out the imposter in every row, then move on to the Relink round, where you choose the words that form one more hidden group. You have four attempts in all, and the game shows today's solve rate.

About Relink (Daily Mail)

Relink's tagline is Find the imposters. The puzzle is a grid of words in rows. Each row is a set of words with something in common, such as primary colours, synonyms for speed or alcoholic drinks, and each row hides one word that does not belong.

The game comes in two stages. First, you pick the imposter in each row. A right pick solves the row; a wrong one costs one of your four attempts, and the game remembers words you have already tried. Once every row is solved, the Relink stage opens: you select words from across the grid that together make one more group, and submit them. A wrong group also costs an attempt. Use up all four and the game ends and shows the answers.

When you finish, Relink tells you how many mistakes you made out of four, shows today's solve rate, and gives you a line to share, I solved today's Relink, with your time and the number of hints you used. It is one of the free daily puzzles on Daily Mail Games, made with the puzzle studio Puzzlr, alongside games such as Trace, Colour Connect and Sandwich.

Tips

  • Name each row's theme out loud before you pick; the imposter often fits a different theme.
  • Imposters may themselves be connected, so keep an eye on them for the Relink stage.
