Real or Hype?
Ten claims a day: decide if each is real, oversold hype or a plain myth, then read the source.
Every day: Daily 10: the same ten claims for everyone each day. Judge each one Real, Hype or Myth, read the source, and share a spoiler-free result grid. New puzzle: Midnight (the game says a new set arrives at midnight).

Real or Hype? is a browser trivia game about things everybody seems to know. Each claim gets one of three verdicts: Real, Hype for a true story blown up past the evidence, or Myth. After every answer the game shows what the source says, with a link. The Daily 10 is the same set of claims for everyone.
About Real or Hype?
Real or Hype?, by Animora Media, was published on itch.io in September 2026. It takes popular claims, such as Napoleon being tiny or Einstein's supposed definition of insanity, and asks you to sort them into three piles. Real means the claim checks out. Hype means there is a true story underneath, but it has been inflated beyond what the evidence supports. Myth means it is simply false.
After each verdict a card explains the answer in a sentence or two and names its source, with a link so you can check it yourself. A label also states how strong the evidence for that verdict is. Correct answers score points, and a run of correct answers builds a streak with combo bonuses.
The Daily 10 gives everyone the same ten claims each day, numbered from Daily #1, with a new set at midnight. The results screen shows your score out of ten, your points, your best streak in the set and your day streak, plus the hardest claim you missed. A copyable result grid lets you share your run without revealing the answers. Endless mode draws from more than 180 sourced claims for as long as your streak lasts.
The game runs in the browser on phone or desktop: swipe with one thumb, or use the arrow keys. It has no ads, no sign-up and no tracking. The same team makes a longer fact app called Vera, which the game links to.
