Pokelingo: Who's That Pokémon?
Read a Pokédex entry in the language you are learning and name the Pokémon.
Every day: One Pokémon a day, the same for everyone, to name in five tries from a real Pokédex entry shown in the language you choose. New puzzle: Midnight UTC.

Pokelingo's daily riddle shows you a real Pokédex entry for one of the 1,025 Pokémon, in any of nine languages, and gives you five tries to name the species. After each guess it tells you how close your pick's types, generation and silhouette are.
About Pokelingo: Who's That Pokémon?
Pokelingo is a Pokédex built for language learners, with every species name and Pokédex entry in Japanese, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Korean and both forms of Chinese. Its daily riddle, launched in May 2026, turns that data into a Who's That Pokémon? quiz.
Each day the game picks one Pokémon and shows the flavour text from one of its Pokédex entries, straight from the main games, in your target language. You type the Pokémon you think it is, in that language or in English. After each guess the game tells you which of your pick's types, generation and silhouette are near the answer, and you have five tries before the answer is revealed.
The lore text is the main clue, which sets it apart from Squirdle and other Pokémon guessers that work from stats. Set the target language to your own and it is a plain Pokémon quiz; set it to the language you are studying and it is reading practice. Your streak and daily percentile are tracked, and signing in (free) opens an archive of past riddles.
