About Pairdle Slide

Pairdle Slide takes the two-letter tiles of Pairdle and puts them on a moving board. You slide a pair next to another pair, and if the two make one of the board's hidden four-letter words, they merge into a single word tile. The press kit shows a typical board with 17 words to find, such as APES, GRIN, HUTS and RULE, and a few bonus words besides, including a secret word that earns a free tool.

Because tiles move, one slide can open up or block several words at once. A move counter and a timer track your run, and a handful of tools help with tricky layouts: Reorg reshuffles the board, Clue points at a word, and Freeze stops the clock.

The Daily Challenge is a dated, themed board that every player gets on the same day, with a countdown to the next one and a hidden picture shown when you finish. It unlocks after a few practice wins, and the home screen also offers unlimited random boards, streaks, badges and leaderboards.

Pairdle Slide launched in May 2026 as Logic Loft's third game, after Pairdle and Epic Words. It is free on the web and in the App Store and Google Play.

How to play Pairdle Slide

1. Win a few random boards to unlock the Daily Challenge, then open today's board.
2. Slide a two-letter tile next to another to try a four-letter word.
3. When the pair spells one of the hidden words, the tiles merge into a word tile.
4. Keep sliding to find every hidden word; use Reorg, Clue or Freeze when stuck.
5. Finish the board to see its picture and share your moves and time.

Tips

• Look for common word starts and ends among the pairs (TH, CH, ER, ED) before moving anything.
• Merged word tiles still take space: move them out of the way early.
• Bonus words count too, and the secret word gives a free Reorg.
• Save Clue for the last few words, when the board has the fewest options.
